This one has been tasted recently, comments as follows.
Clynelish 9 yo 2004/2014 SMWS cask 26.101 59.3% - quite young cask strength expression issued "to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the members' rooms at 28 Queen Street Edinburgh.".
Nose: fresh, vanilla and bread sweetness (influence of first fill bourbon cask), some baked apples appear afterwards.
Taste: strong, whiffs of alcohol, notes of wood and bread.
Finish: oaky with hints of anise and liquorice.
Overall: active cask it was, even in this age oak is very obvious. Interesting young Clynelish indeed, though I'd prefer a bit older age :)
Score: 22 21 21 21, 85/100!
