We've been thinking for a long time whether we should buy a bottle for tasting and finally we did it.
Littlemill 21yo First release 46% - not a cheap stuff nowadays, though we should always go beyond our limits. Let's see:
Nose: grass, bitterness, lemongrass, mint, creaminess, touch of vegetable oil. Nuts and honey after some time. Very elegant.
Taste: oily, bittery, some sagebrush, sweet and sour sauce, umami (!), tropical, fruits, cream. Utterly drinkable and tasty!
Finish: medium-long, on gingers, grass and spices.
Overall: excellent lowlander with typical grassiness + lots of fruits and creaminess. Love this one.
Score: 23 23 22 23, 91/100!
