Springbank 32 yo 46% - distillery and malt you don't need to introduce. Bottled in a remote year of 2004 with spirit itself laid in casks in 1971.
Nose: bitter almond at the beginning, wax, wood, vanilla and nuts. After a while some fruits come: apple, banana and coconut. Great.
Taste: oily, fresh, both bitter and sweet, oranges, rasbberry and spices.
Finish: long and expressive on fruits with touches of salt, wood and subtle bitterness.
Overall: very drinkable :) no peat, not so much sea as you can see in younger Springbanks and lots of fruits. Not a brutal sailor but a captain of a cruise ship in white shirt and black tie.
Score: 23 23 22 23, 91/100!
