Laphroaig 10 yo CS batch 008 59.2%

Haven't tasted the most medicinal Islay spirit for quite a long time... 

Laphroaig 10 yo CS batch 008 59.2% - at least it's minimum 10 years old, nowadays it's a good sign. 

Nose: phenolic (what a surpise!), briny, eucalyptus leaves, banana (a friend of mine loves stating it at every tasting). Lemon and tobacco leaves after 10 min. 

Taste: bang! Starts on sweetness, peatiness and then pepper and salt explode. You should make very small sips if consumed undiluted. Really reminds of sweet strawberry at the very beginning :) 

Finish: very long on spices, salt and ashes. Some liquorice and hospital notes as well.

Overall: surely for Islay lovers though worth every penny. Strong and furious. Should be sold in pharmacies only :)
